Belon will invest in the development of production in Kuzbass Rub 5 bln

A. Tuleev, Governor of the Kemerovskiy region and A. Dobrov, President of Belon Group have signed a protocol to agreement on a social and economic partnership in 2007. This year Belon will invest in the development of production in Kuzbass Rub 5 bln. The funds will used on modernization and guarantee of safe working conditions on Listvyazhnaya”, “Chertinskaya- Coke”, “Novaya -2”, mines as well as development of “Novobachatskiy-1”, “Novobachatskiy-2” and other strippings. «Listvayznaya» dressing plant with the production capacity of not less than 5.1 mln tons of enriched energy coal per year is planned to start in August 2007, «Kostromovskaya» mine - in April 2008.

According the new protocol, Belon Group will invest Rub 546.6 mln in financing of measures aimed at industrial safety providing in 2007, which is Rub 223.6 mln more than in the past year.

Also, Belon Group has signed preliminary agreements on production and delivery of mining equipment.
