Evgeniy Borisov appointed as the OMZ Group General Director

OMZ Group Board of Directors has appointed Evgeniy Borisov as the general director of the company.

Evgeniy Borisov was born in September 1950. He graduated from Ivanovsk State Energy University where he studied power supply of industrial objects, cities and agricultural facilities. He began working in Ivanov GNNI ASU in 1973 as an engineer and, later, a chief engineer.

In 1987-1992 he held the position of deputy general director on economy at Ivanovsk Power and Electricity Production Company. In 1992-1993 he was the deputy president at the Russian Electric Energy Corporation Rosenergo.

In 1993-2005 he was subsequently working at RAO UES as a first deputy director of the finance department, director of the finance department and vice president.

In 2005-2007 he was the deputy general director of finance at OAO Mosenergo.

Since June 2007 Evgeniy Borisov held the position of general director at ZAO Managing Company – Strategic Assets and the advisor to Gazprombank Chairman of the Board.
