Testing Laboratory MMK proved its competence and professionalism

Testing laboratory of MMK, JSC has successfully passed the accreditation procedure for technical competence in GOST R system.

Certification commission recommended to the Federal Agency of technical regulating and metrology accredited testing laboratory of MMK, JSC for technical competence in the testing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, steel products, iron ore, refractory materials and products, as well as fuel-lubricants, paints and other polymeric materials.

Since 1995, the mill’s testing laboratory has been passing the process of accreditation for the fifth time and if before the term of accreditation was three years, now the re-issued certificate is valid until 2016 (five years).

All this time the laboratory will hold testing of incoming raw materials and manufactured metal products to confirm compliance with quality indicators. Successful completion of accreditation for technical competence in the GOST R system confirms high level of professional and technical training of test laboratory’s employees.
