Chusovoy Metallurgical Works Wins Prize in 100 Top Russian Products Contest

Springs made at the Chusovoy Metallurgical Works (AO ChMW, Perm Territory, a United Metallurgical Company (AO OMK, Moscow) subsidiary) won an award in the New Product category in the national competition for the Top 100 Russian products.

The facility submitted recently introduced springs for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) of foreign makes to the competition.

A large-scale project to acquire the capability to make springs for foreign-made vehicles has been ongoing since 2016. The SPRINGER brand was developed specifically for this product. The largest contribution to the development of new springs for LCVs was made by the team at the engineering and technology center and the team that manufactures the springs.

"The Chusovoy Metallurgical Works is a leader among domestic spring manufacturers. We are undertaking a large-scale investment program to upgrade and automate production. Our quality was deservedly recognized at a national competition. In 2020, we will continue facility upgrades and new product development", noted AO ChMW Managing Director Vladimir Kirzner.
