Lebedinsky GOK's quality management system successfully passes re-certification audit
Lebedinsky GOK (part of Metalloinvest) has successfully passed a re-certification audit of its quality management system (QMS) for compliance with the international standard ISO 9001:2015. The audit was conducted in October by experts from the British Standards Institution (BSI), a recognised global leader in international certification.
Alexander Tokarenko, Managing Director of Lebedinsky GOK, said: "Product quality is one of the key factors for our enterprise’s competitiveness in the Russian and international markets. We are focused on increasing the output of premium iron ore products and are systematically introducing advanced green technologies. Our long-term strong relationships with key customers are the best proof of our success in these areas.”
During the audit, discussions were held with managers and specialists from the technical department, concentrator, technical control department, pelletising plant, equipment department, sales support department, rail transport department and metrology laboratory. The
required documentation was analysed.
The BSI’s experts recognised the high competence level of the representatives from the audited structural units in terms of process approach implementation, risk-oriented thinking, process efficiency maintenance and management, and the quality management system as a
whole.
Based on the positive results obtained, the certification organisation confirmed Lebedinsky GOK's QMS compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and extended its validity for three years.
