MMC Norilsk Nickel to pay interim dividends

The interim dividends are to be paid for 9 months of 2007 in accordance with the Board of Directors’ recommendation based on the successful performance of the Сompany.

The decision to pay interim dividends is in line with the Сompany’s dividend policy under which MMC Norilsk Nickel aims to pay 20 – 25% of IFRS net income per annum. The total amount of interim dividends to be paid to MMC Norilsk Nickel’s shareholders equals to RUB 19.8 billion.

In accordance with Russian law the Company will pay the dividends within 60 days after the date of the shareholders’ approval.
