Russian metal and steel production increased by 5.3%

According to the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, the index of metallurgical production and the production of finished metal products in February 2008 reached 109,5%, in January – February 2008 – 106% as compared to the corresponding period last year.

Metal and steel production increased by 5.3% in February 2008 compared to February 2007 production results, in January-February 2008 - 3.4% up.
