The PSI AG has acquired 100 percent of the shares of 4Production AG, headquartered in Wurselen near Aachen. 4Production is a specialized provider of metals supply chain consulting and, with its production management solutions, leading in the aluminium and copper industry. The company has 40 employees and counts many international groups in the steel, aluminium and copper industry amongst its customers.

4Production provides ground-breaking metals supply chain consulting and system integration for the optimal utilisation of the value-added chain and is, with its innovative product 4Production Suite, leading in the aluminium and copper industry. The PSI subsidiary PSI BT holds, with its industry standard PSImetals, a leading role as provider of production management solutions in the steel industry. With the integration of 4Production, both companies reinforce their offerings and strategically expand their strong market positions.

With a total of 200 engineers and business administration specialists who are specialized in the production processes in the metal industry, the PSI Group will become one of the worlds most strongly focused solutions providers in this market. Recently, PSI has greatly expanded the number of new orders from the steel industry with major new contracts from North and South America, Europe, Russia and China.
