Non-ferrous rolled products manufacture grew in November
According to Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation in November 2009 primary aluminium production fell by 8.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2008, and by 2.4% compared to October 2009. In January - November 2009 primary aluminium production fell by 8.8% compared to the corresponding period of 2008.
In November 2009 production of metallic molybdenum increased 9 times as compared to October 2009, production of metallic tungsten grew by 72.2%, aluminium rolled products manufacture grew by 11.1%, lead production grew by 7.7%, copper rolled products grew by 12.2%, titanium sponge - 7.5% up, magnesium and magnesium alloys – 12.2% up, and titanium rolled products manufacture increased by 26.9%.
In November zinc production fell by 4.2%, refilled copper production fell by 16.5%, bronze rolled production manufacture - 19.3% down, brass rolled products – 5.8% down, nickel – by 6.8% down and cobalt – by 10% down.
