TMK Commissions Thread Line for Casing with Premium Connections at its Orsky Machine Building Plant

In the mid October a new thread line for casing with premium connections was commissioned at Orsky Machine Building Plant, which is part of TMK’s oilfield services division.

The launch of the thread line for casing with premium connections at Orsk is a continuation of TMK’s premium business segment development. The first product manufactured on the new line was a casing pipe (diameter 168.28 mm) with TMK FMC and TMK GF premium connections, as well as a casing pipe (diameter 244.83 mm) with a TMK GF connection. The design capacity of the new thread line is 24,000 tons per year of casing, which will cover a diverse product mix.

Production of casing with gastight connections at Orsky Machine Building Plant will allow the company to expand its product line and TMK’s ability to offer new products for oil and gas well infrastructure development and related services.
