Primary aluminum production declined by 0.7% year to year in February
Primary aluminum production in Russia decreased by 0.7% in February 2025 compared to February 2024. January-February 2025 period, aluminum production rose by 1.7% year to year, compared to the same period last year. The output of aluminum structures and structural components amounted to 15.1 thousand tons in February 2025. Russia has increased supplies of copper, nickel, and aluminum to China
According to Chinese customs data, the first two months of 2025 saw a significant rise in imports of certain non-ferrous metals from Russia to China, reports “Kommersant”.
