Uralelektromed,during the
nextfivemonths thecompany
willpreparenecessary
technicaldocumentation.
Thesetup followedby
commissioningwok is
planned forQ42014.Thenew
equipmenthasenhanced
mechanicalproperties.Thus,
theanodemountdoesnot
requireadditionalequipment
for thepouringaggregate
anodes replacing,while
theweightmeasuringunit
guaranteeshighaccuracy
ofanodesweight.“These
solutionssuggestedby the
supplierensure reductionof
operationalexpenses, aswell
asexpenses for thepouring
aggregatemaintenanceand
repair.After the reconstruction
thepouringaggregateof
anode furnace#3willproduce
two typesofanodesused
incathodesproduction”,

modernizationof thecopper-
meltingplant ispartof the
programondevelopment
ofUralelektromed’scopper-
refining facilities.Currently,five
anode furnacesof350teach
areoperated in theplant.The
totalproductioncapacityof

focusingonqualityassetsand increase in

adoptedNorilskNickel’s strategy.The sales revenue is

otheranalysts.
Thecompanyplans to sell 100%of itsproducts. The
profitability in2014will notbecome lower than in2013
due tooptimizationmeasures. Ingeneral, thecompanyas

The total capital investmentswill reach$2bn. Norilsk
Nickel plans to implement all its keyprojectsonores
geologicexploration, excavationand treatment, as
well asprojectsonelectricpower and transportation
developments. Thebudges, however ensures social
stability in the regionsof operation supportingexisting
social programs.
