Severstal Bought Tube Plant in Poland

Severstal has bought Technologie Buczek, a Polish steel tubes producer for $22 mln, mass media report. Severstallat, a sister company of Severstal was engaged in the transaction. Experts believe Severstal plans to turn the Polish office into a center of coordination of its activities in Europe.

Severstal has its assets in Russia, Northern America, Europe and Ukraine. Alexey Mordashov, Director General, Severstal is the main beneficiary of the company owning more than 82% of the stock.
