VSMPO-Avisma plans to produce 27.200 tons of titanium in 2011

VSMPO-Avisma Corproration produced 20.700 tons of titanium in 2010, Dmitry. Trifonov, the production director of VSMPO (branch of VSMpO-Avismy) said in a interview to a corporative newspaper.

According to him, the last year was quite successful for the majority of VSMPO divisions. Shop №4 for example performed an order for manufacture of new large-sized shovels for turbines of the New Voronezh and New Leningrad nuclear plants.

VSMPO plans to increase titanium production to 27.200 tons, let alone production of ingots, slabs and higher conversion products .
