Ekaterina Nikitina appointed director of human resources of UC RUSAL
RUSAL the world's largest aluminium producer, announces the appointment of Ekaterina Nikitina Director of Human Resources to RUSAL.
Ekaterina Nikitina has solid experience in HR management. Since 2009, she was heading the HR department at Basic Element, Russia’s leading diversified investment company
One of the most important tasks for RUSAL as an employer is to attract and retain highly qualified personnel, as well as to create conditions for their continuous development. The company is introducing a comprehensive employee motivation system. One of the goals of this system is to ensure the growth of average wages of skilled workers up to 60 thousand rubles per month by the end of 2013. The implementation of additional social projects aimed at raising living standards is also planned, including a programme of low-rise housing construction for employees. Within the next three years the company expects to spend USD600 million on the employee motivation programme.
Victotia Petrova who was heading the HR function at RUSAL becomes deputy CEO responsible for human resources management at Basic Element.
Biography
Ekaterina Nikitina graduated from Simferopol State University, Romance and Germanic Philology department, as well as from the Management Consulting School under the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
Prior to joining Basic Element, she worked as an executive search consultant and HR management advisor at such companies as Antal International, ARTIS Consulting, Morgan Chase Group (GB), Ernst&Young.
Since 2002 Ekaterina Nikitina has worked at Basic Element.
In 2002-2004, she was a human resources manager, leading the recruitment team and being responsible for labor relations.
From 2006 to 2008 Ekaterina was a deputy HR director of Basic Element.
