Izhorskiye Zavody finished production of equipment for Russian NPPs

Izhorskiye Zavody, part of OMZ Group, finished producing equipment for Russian Nuclear Power Plants, which are under construction.

The company completed shipment of equipment for the reactor building of the first unit of the Leningradskaya NPP-2: unbolt device for flanged connectors for steam generator, equipment for inspection shafts and scantlings for heat generating assemblies. For the third unit of Rostovskaya NPP Izhorskiye Zavody shipped gateway sluice, designed for transportation of various cargoes to the reactor zone. Cover of the top block of the reactor vessel was shipped to the Kaliningradskaya NPP.

Also, the commission, comprising of representatives of JSC Nizhny Novgorod Engineering Company “Atomenergoproekt” (the general contractor), Rostovskaya NPP and Rosatom state corporation accepted: vessel internals for the reactor of the third power unit of Rostovskaya NPP (internal well, a block of protective tubes, a baffle) and unbolt device for the main reactor division. As a result both sides signed an acceptance certificate of the equipment.
