In 2010 price for steel in China will rise due to increase in raw materials prices
Reuters reports that increasing prices for raw materials during US and European economies recovery ensure a strong support to rise of steel prices in China in 2010. According to China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), excess steel facilities and trade barriers may hinder steel prices growth making them change during the year. Chinese steel companies, according to CISA in 2010 will endure tough times for besides such problems as increase in transportation costs, raw materials prices, taxes, etc. that will have to face problems of environment protection. However, CISA representing 3/4 of all the Chinese steel companies regards the future of the steel sector with optimism.
