Somedevelopmentsof thisworld
largest tubesandpipeproducerare
unique; ithasbeen thefirstRussianand
oneof a fewworld tubescompanies to
masterproductionof insulated lifting
tubespreventing thawingaround
thecasedholeunder thepermafrost
conditions tobeused in theupper
segmentsof tubingscolumns.Another
important achievement ismastering
superchrome steelproducts resistant to
corrosionenvironment.Beingpioneers
inRussiaTMKprofessionalsdeveloped
thisopen-hearth special steel gradeand
mastered itsproductionprocess.Batches
of13Cr steel gradecasingpipesand
tubingshavealreadybeendispatched.
Such typeof insulated lifting tubeshave
alsobeenmanufacturedbyGazprom
order. Superchrome steel tubesare
tobeused ingascondensatefields in
low temperatureareas invertical and
deviatedwells. Lubricant-free screw joints
technologyused in tubingsandcasing
pipes isanother trend. Liquid screw joint
lubricantsusednowadaysare replaced
witha special solidcompositecoating
withapolymermatrixbearing the same
antifriction, scuffing, andcorrosion-
resistantproperties.Thefirstbatchof such
typeof tubeshasbeendispatchedand is
alreadyusedatRosneft’sVankorskOil
Field.

Russiaand theCISproducerof tubesas
perDNV-OS-F101standard forsubsea
